Our Account Manager Lacey Bonham reflects on the whirlwind of tours that we have already delivered in 2024 and takes a look at those still on the road.
Once again, we kick started the year with the Strictly Come Dancing tour. We have been on the road delivering catering for this tour since it began, 16 years ago. This time around we visited nine different cities with 10 crew members serving over 3,000 meals.
January and February also saw us successfully deliver two UK and EU tours, Bring Me the Horizon and Bill Bailey.
Judas Priest
We’re currently back out on the road with Judas Priest who we last toured with across Europe in 2012!
Judas Priest has always been known for their electrifying performances and dedicated fanbase. Our days begin long before the sun rises, as we prepare to serve breakfast fit for rock royalty, followed by a hearty lunch and dinner for all on the road.
As well as ensuring all the crew and artists on tour are well fed, we also look after all dressing room requirements for the band and their support acts, The Saxons and Uriah Heep.
Later this month we head out to the USA to support the American leg of the tour and then back to the UK and Europe later in the summer for another five weeks on the road.
Strictly The Professionals UK Tour
In early May we’ll be back out on the road with the Strictly Come Dancing family. This time around for the Strictly The Professionals UK Tour. We kick off with a weeks’ worth of rehearsals late April before hitting the road for five weeks of glitz and glam! A team of three crew members will be travelling with the tour from start to finish, visiting over 21 venues and serving over 1,600 meals as well as managing dressing rooms, pack ups for truck drivers and keeping those tour buses well stocked.
We are looking forward to the rest of the year with many more exciting tours to come!
