Our Business Director, Mary Shelley-Smith has been recognised in Pollstar’s Venue Impact 2O23 International list of honourees.
Now in its third year, the list was created to shine a light on some of the music industry’s great minds, who have all achieved remarkable things in the past year and beyond.
On announcing the 2023 honourees Gideon Gottfried, European Editor at Pollstar said:
“While 2023 has been another big year in terms of overall business, there are still many challenges that need to be overcome, from labour shortages to price increases to logistical obstacles posed by Brexit and the war in Ukraine. But that’s not it. There is also opportunity for improvement, which has seen hiring a new generation of professionals with fresh ideas, making companies more diverse and sustainable and — finally —- placing the mental and physical health of those working behind the scenes in the centre of all considerations. Change is the only constant. If there’s one common theme about this year’s honourees is that they’ve all embraced this reality.”
Everyone who made the 2023 list was invited to a special event on 14th November at Ronnie Scott’s in London.
